On August 1st and 2nd, the elegance of Chilean wine was celebrated annually at Vinos Íconos, the event that brings together the country's most emblematic labels and leading figures in the wine world. Held at the Sheraton Santiago Hotel, this edition once again demonstrated that greatness is built with time, terroir, and vision. Among more than 40 participating wineries, Viña El Principal was recognized with the award for Best Icon Wine, thanks to its 2021 vintage, El Principal, a wine that embodies the depth and sophistication of the Maipo Andes terroir. With structured elegance, mineral notes that honor the altitude of Pirque, and impeccable aging potential, El Principal 2021 established itself as an exceptional label, designed to inspire today and transcend time.
